  • We take a modern approach to skin treatments, so no excessive facial massages or crystals on your forehead - just results.

    Our facials are tech-lead for a super-charged session.

    Our sessions are adapted to each guest’s skin concerns but can include a combination of the following:

    Light Enzyme peel: A blend of fruit-derived enzymes and acids assist in removing surface skin cells to remove the uppermost layers of skin to assist with the concerns of acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and coarse skin.

    Extractions: A technique that is best left to the professionals. We manually aid the removal of congestion in the skin, such as “blackheads” and closed comedones, to clear the pore of cellular debris. *if necessary

    Radiofrequency: This device generates heat in the skin using radiofrequency waves, a type of electromagnetic energy. These waves create heat in the skin, to a bearable 39-42 celsius. This heat can cause collagen contraction, giving a more immediate skin tightening effect and stimulate collagen production for benefits that continue even after the treatment has finished.

    High-Frequency: This tool uses alternating currents that react with gas or air in the electrode (glass tip) and ionises these elements to offer an anti-germicidal and “drying” effect to combat acne lesions.

    LED light therapy: Our Dermalux LED device uses a unique combination of clinically proven Blue, Red and Near Infrared wavelengths to boost collagen production, increase hydration, calm redness and irritation and blitz blemish causing bacteria. A relaxing and pain-free experience.

    Electroporation: A hand-piece is applied to the skin that emits electromagnetic pulses, these pulses temporarily create small channels that allow for products to be absorbed more deeply into the skin. A great way to intensely hydrate dull skin as well as introduce active ingredients.

    Galvanic currents: The use of direct galvanic currents can offer a deep cleanse for congested skin by softening oil and aiding the release of blockages in the pores. Conversely, these currents can also be used to enhance product penetration and aid skin hydration.

    Ultrasonic skin cleansing: This method uses a device that emits ultrasonic sound waves, these high speed oscillations help release dead surface skin cells and loosen comedones for a deeper cleanse and easier extractions.

    Cold therapy: This tool cools the skin, causing vasoconstriction. This constriction can push excess fluid out from the tissues, reducing puffiness as well as take down the redness in the skin post-treatment for a more calm complexion.

  • We suggest on monthly session as a good way to keep your skin in tip-top shape. To help keep your skincare plan consistent, we offer monthly memberships which help you save whilst keeping your skin glowing.

  • No, not really. Our facial sessions are overwhelmingly pleasant to the senses (heated bed, weighted blanket, cosy towels, etc.), however depending on your needs, extractions may be performed which can cause some discomfort.

    Otherwise, if you are new to electrical facials, there are mostly new sensations and things that go zip and zap.

    Your therapist will keep an open communication during the session, so please feel free to express if any sensation is too intense as we can make appropriate adjustments where needed.

  • We have taken on brands that are trusted and efficacious to enhance our facial sessions, it’s for this reason we are very proud to carry and use brands like AlumierMD and Heliocare for all of your skincare needs.

    *We may introduce new products at our discretion

  • Most facials can be adapted for guests that are pregnant or breastfeeding. However, guests who are pregnant cannot receive chemical peels or microneedling.
    *We cannot perform any services until after the first trimester.

Studio Etiquette

  • When arriving, please be mindful of other guests that may be having their treatment.

    If the rope is up at the top of the stairs, please lift and re-secure behind you before joining us for your treatment.

    Please feel free to help yourself to the refreshments that are provided and take a seat until a therapist is with you.

  • We politely request that children do not attend the studio.

    Minors with appointments are allowed, but for health and safety reasons we request only those that are booked in attend the appointment (alongside the parent or guardian as stated in our terms & conditions)

    If we have to reschedule on the day due to childcare arrangements, you may incur a cancellation fee.

  • We have a no phone policy through out the studio and politely ask that once you enter the studio that your mobile phone is placed on silent and that you refrain from taking phone calls in the studio.

    This includes the hallway and reception area as you can still be heard in other treatment areas.

    Movies, music and all other forms of audio may only be listened to through headphones to avoid disrupting our other guests.

OTHER STUDIO INFO

  • Our studio is cashless, we accept all major card providers.

    We can allow partial cash payments, but do not offer change.

    We do not accept checks.

  • There is metered parking on Montpellier Street South - the road right outside the studio, £1 for 45 mins (max 2 hours).

    Please download the MIPERMIT app to pay for parking, or bring change.

    Parking is free after 6 pm. The closest free car park is Waitrose - 3 hours.

  • To ensure we are giving you your full-service time, we ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows you to use the restroom, enjoy a refreshment and for us to start your appointment on time.

    We ask that you avoid arriving much earlier to limit interaction with other clients in the reception and common areas.

    All sessions include 5-minutes to go-over your service forms, explain the service and undress as well as 5-minutes to redress at the end of your session.

  • We can offer services to clients between the ages of 12 and older. If the minor is between the age of 12-16 years old, we require an adult/chaperone to be present in the room during all services.

    Minors that are 16 and 17 years old may receive a service without a parent or guardian present in the room but will still require a signature by a parent or guardian to authorise Nu-Clear and its employees to perform a service.

    All parental/guardian consent must be re-submitted during each visit. All parent/guardian signature’s must be signed in-person.

  • There may be some occasions, where unfortunately we have to reschedule an appointment.

    If this happens, we will endeavour to accommodate you as close to the original appointment time as possible with another therapist or to a time that’s convenient for you.

    However, if we are fully booked or you’re unable to come in at another time, we will need to rebook your appointment.

    We can assure you this will always be our last option and we don’t take this option lightly.

  • If you are sick or under the weather, please let us know at least 72 hours prior to your treatment so we can re-schedule your appointment.

    Should you have an elevated temperature or showing any signs of sickness on the day of your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment online and denied entry into the studio.
