Who this treatment is NOT recommended for:

*Those experiencing cancer and/or current cancer treatments

*If you have an open wound, sores, lesions or damaged skin in the treated area

*If you’re pregnant or lactating

*Experiencing any contagious or transmittable diseases.

*Taking blood disorder medications Haemophilia or other bleeding disorders
*Allergy to stainless steel or silicone

*Currently taking drugs with the ingredients Isotretinoin

*Always consult your Physician before having this treatment if you have any health or medical concerns.

*If you have an active sunburn that has occurred in the last 2 weeks.


WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY TREATMENT?

Please follow these guidelines before your microneedling treatment.

*Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks prior to treatment 

Avoid the use of exfoliating agents such as retinoid products (e.g., Retinol, tretinoin, retinaldehyde) and high levels of AHA and BHA products for approximately 7 days prior to treatment.

Consult with your physician before temporarily discontinuing the use of any prescription medications.

*Avoid use of photosensitizing medications (e.g., antibiotics, St John’s wort), You may be treated if your last dose was 7 days ago or more. Consult with your physician before temporarily discontinuing the use of any prescription medications.

*Avoid waxing, threading or other form of hair removal on the area in 7 days prior to treatment

*Avoid microdermabrasion, skin peels, micro-needling, laser or IPL 4 weeks prior to treatment

*Avoid Facial fillers at least 2 weeks prior to your facial and 4 weeks for Botox

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER MY TREATMENT?
*Use a mild cleanser for the next 7/10 days
*Use an intensive moisturiser for at least 1 week as your skin may feel drier or tighter after your treatment Feel free to apply makeup if needed after 24 hours.
*Ensure the brushes and sponges and clean.
*Apply sunscreen with an SPF 30+ on a daily basis and with regular applications for a period of at least 2 weeks as well as other sun protective measures (sunglasses, wide brimmed hats, UPF clothing, seek shade when possible)
*Use clean bed linens and towels that come in contact with the face
*DO NOT touch the skin with soiled hands until at least 24 hours post treatment
*DO NOT have electrolysis, waxing, threading or any other form of hair removal in the area for 7 days post treatment.
*DO NOT use facial scrubs or mechanical forms of exfoliation for 7-10 days post needling 

DO NOT use retinoic acid, AHA or BHA for 7-10 days post needling
DO NOT have laser hair removal, photo-facials, chemical peels or microdermabrasion for 14 days post needling
*DO NOT apply ice or ice water on the treated area
*DO NOT cleanse your skin on the evening of your treatment
*DO NOT pick or pull any flaking skin
*DO NOT use expose yourself to extreme temperatures and direct sunlight (ie, prolonged sun exposure, saunas, sunbed, steam bath) for a period of at least 5-7 days post treatment
*DO NOT perform any aerobic exercise for 48 hours
*DO NOT swim in chlorinated water for approximately 7-10 days
*DO NOT use products with fragrance on the treated area for 3-5 days after treatment
*DO NOT rub or excessively massage the face for 2 weeks
*Report any concerns to your practitioner as soon as possible
