acne programme :

    Blue light (415nm) is absorbed into the skin’s first layer, triggering a natural reaction to destroy the acne-causing bacteria to reduce breakouts. Blue 415nm is clinically proven to significantly improve/clear mild to moderate acne by 76% after just 4 weeks (Morton, 2005).

    In the skin’s deepest layer,
    near-infrared (830nm) works to reduce inflammation, calm irritation and strengthen the skin. Near Infrared light 830nm has been proven to increase cell regeneration by up to 200% (Dr H Whelan et al, 2001).

  • This session is quick whilst allowing you a moment to chill and relax.

    The treatment:

    • The skin is cleansed thoroughly.

    • A 30 minute LED therapy session will commence.

    • Finishing products are applied.

      You’re in and out in 40 minutes to continue your day.

  • Dermalux is a relaxing, pain free experience with evidenced wellbeing effects.

    The treatment does not generate heat but a feeling of natural warmth is common due to the increase in blood circulation.

  • The number of treatments required for optimum results is subject to a number of factors including indication and severity, age and lifestyle.

    Depending on the progress, a second programme (6 sessions) may be recommended.

  • Results can last for several months following a course of Dermalux treatments subject to the indication.

    However, regular maintenance treatments are advised to extend results as part of an on-going skin health programme.

A wonder treatment ✨. Microneedling can be a useful treatment in reducing the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles, acne scars , enlarged pores and even hyperpigmentation.

  • Each session includes a powerful LED therapy session followed by a microneedling treatment.

    *Each session is done within 60 minutes.

  • Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy in simple terms, is a cosmetic procedure that uses a device with very thin, sharp needle tips to make punctures on the skin

    The concept of microneedling is based on the natural ability for your skin to heal after physical damage such as cuts or burns.

    This process works to rejuvenate your skin by boosting collagen production, which in turn reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and elevates the overall texture of your skin.

  • The punctures are only surface-level, so the pain is minimal.

    Most only experience the vibrational feel on the skin from the needle tip coming up and down, you can experience some slight discomfort in certain areas, but not enough for anaesthetic to be needed.

  • For the best results, we recommend a short course of treatments - with a minimum of 3-6 for optimal results.

    The number and duration of treatments you require will be further discussed with you by your skin therapist.

  • The great thing about this treatment is there's really no significant downtime.

    Skin experience a warm feeling, redness, flushing, tightness, itching, tenderness, stinging, swelling and some pinpoint bleeding.

    Any redness should subside over 2-36 hours post treatment.

    Bruising: Although this may not be normally expected to occur, the procedure may cause bruising, the eye contour being the area at most risk of bruising. Any such bruising is temporary

    However, these reactions are temporary and typically resolve within 3-4 days as the skin returns to normal.

  • We suggest these sessions to be had in close succession, with 3-4 weeks between treatments.

Chemical peels are ideal session for correcting sun damage, skin congestion, uneven skin tone, coarse texture and acne scars.

  • This programme includes 6 x chemical peel sessions
    (60mins each).

    On the day of your treatment, you will be welcomed into our modern and clean treatment room.. 

    We start with a thorough cleanse of the skin.

    You will receive a supercharged LED therapy session to calm and heal the skin for optimal results.

    After, we apply a prep solution to degrease the skin, followed by a chemical solution that is brushed onto your skin. 

    The solution will be left on your skin for a duration of 10-20 mins. 

    During this stage you may feel a minor tingling or warming sensation during your treatment.

    Some people temporarily experience a feeling of tightness after their treatment.

    All of our chemical peels are finished off with premium medical-grade skincare products.

  • Chemical peels cause small, controlled damage to the epidermis and/or dermis with the goal of stimulating new tissue to improve skin texture and tone.

    Chemical peels work by decreasing the pH of the skin, this loosens the connections between dead skin cells, inducing exfoliation and stimulating new cell growth.

    This process causes superficial layers of dead skin to peel off, revealing a smoother and more radiant complexion.

    At Nu-Clear we perform superficial-medium depth peels, for optimal results without the downtime.

  • Although you can appreciate more radiant skin with one peel, we suggest a series of at least 3-6 treatments, every 2-4 weeks for optimal results.

    Your skin therapist will discuss with you the number of sessions that will be required to get you closer to your skin-care goals.

  • The skin is initially tender and more sun-sensitive as the epidermis renews itself.

    Due to the nature of these treatments, you should not necessarily “peel”. However, you may have light to moderate flaking in a few localised areas for 3-7 days.

    You may experience residual redness, which lasts in most patients from 1-12 hours post-treatment.

    Most clients find they can return to their regular routines and even apply makeup to the area 24 hours after their peel.

  • We suggest these sessions to be had in close succession, with a session every 2-4 weeks.
